Als schwäbischer Tüftler hat Herr Martin Beyersdorffer in den späten 60er Jahren seine ersten Lautsprecher entwickelt und die erste Discothek in Lindau mit Mischpult und Lichtsteuerung ausgestattet. Anfang der 70er Jahre entstand ein eigenentwickeltes Lautsprecherprogramm. Dies war die Geburtsstunde der Marke ORBID SOUND, die er allerdings erst 1977 als Marke eintragen ließ. Seit dieser Zeit haben Lautsprecher von Orbid Sound viele Menschen und Musikliebhaber gleichermaßen begeistert. Einerseits als Fertigboxen, andererseits als kostengünstigere Bausätze, durch deren Zusammenbau die Kunden einen besonderen Bezug zu Ihren Lautsprechern entwickelten, wie Martin Beyersdorffer immer besonders betont. Altersbedingt hat der Markenbegründer Mitte Juni seine Geschäfte niedergelegt. Den Generationenwechsel hatten wir ja bereits vor einem Jahr eingeleitet.Seine Idee von bezahlbarem Hi-Fi der Extraklasse lebt weiter fort mit ORBID SOUND – NEXT GENERATION. Technisch, klanglich und optisch vollkommen neu entwickelt von seinem Sohn Daniel Beyersdorffer.
